MMGY Global, the world’s leading integrated travel and hospitality marketing company, is pleased to announce the appointments of Katie Briscoe as president and Craig Compagnone as chief operating officer (COO). Both longtime executives of the agency will help steer the global organization during a period of rapid growth and expansion.
The promotions of Briscoe and Compagnone are a testament to the organization’s global growth and a renewed focus on supporting its individual operating brands moving forward. MMGY Global’s new global leadership team includes Katie Briscoe, President; Craig Compagnone, COO; Hugh McConnell, CFO; and Clayton Reid, CEO.

Katie Briscoe, President
Katie, a 10-year veteran of the agency, will serve as the first female president of MMGY Global. She will be responsible for helping lead the company's strategic growth in both acquisitions and the development of core marketing services and talent. She will lead MMGY Global's integrated marketing communications services, inclusive of advertising, creative, marketing technology and data, public relations and social media on behalf of its global client portfolio.
Katie has led marketing strategy and campaigns for clients including Destination DC, Wyndham Hotel Group, Sixt Rental Car, Marriott International, Namibia Tourism Board and Club Med, in addition to a wide variety of hospitality and tourism organizations.
Katie is a board member of HSMAI, sits on advisory committees for Visit KC and Expedia, and was awarded the HSMAI Chair's Leadership Award in 2017. She also is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including Destinations International, HSMAI’s Digital Marketing Conference, Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition, EyeForTravel North America and Luxury Travel Advisor's Ultra Summit. In addition, Katie led a record-breaking fundraising effort for the Midwest Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year campaign in 2017.
Craig Compagnone, COO
As chief operating officer, Craig, a 14-year veteran of MMGY Global, will oversee company operations and support services across the company’s 10 global offices. He will be responsible for the integration of the company’s growing portfolio of global brands and drive continued growth in acquisition strategy, business development, staff support and industry relationships. He will also oversee the company’s research and representation brands, DK Shifflet and Myriad; support the management of brands Grifco, Ophir and Hills Balfour, based in London and Dubai; and continue to oversee MMGY Global’s signature events DMO Mojo, Summit at Vail and Summit at London.
Throughout his career, Craig has developed marketing strategy, led brand positioning and created unique industry partnerships for clients including Marriott, Visit Oakland, Windstar Cruises, Delaware North, Visit Santa Barbara and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences and events, Craig’s insights have been featured by publications like The New York Times, Skift, Luxury Travel Advisor and Travel Weekly. He also currently serves on the Destinations International Global Leadership Board and Partner Advisory Council and oversees MMGY Global’s Travel Consul network.
