Pripps – Utvandrarna / The emigrants (1998) :30 (Sweden)

A classic Swedish scene of the generation that emigrated to America is shown, where the man of the house tells his wife and mother-in-law that he needs to sort some things on the homestead before taking the next boat. "I have to lock the door, and hide the key, and cover the water..." he lists things that need to be done. 
Back at the homestead, he and a couple of other men pour themselves some beer. "We might miss the next boat too" he says.
