They're not the only ones who cover shit they don't own in London (or most world-cities for that matter), after all that's where Flyposters are paid for by taxpayers since the advertisers don't pay for the "media space" (which it isn't) and don't pay for it's removal. Some might argue that the spread of ads on 'pirated' space might have caused the street art boom as most artists paint over the illegal ads as canvas.

It is pretty ironic though, and perhaps best summed up like Jordan said when Nissan did their Urban fakeout I LOVE this, by the way. I love how how "legitimate underground artists" are pissed off that their idea of subversion is being subverted. And
it's probably the work of a street artist hired by a creative wonk like me at an agency to do the subverting.

I always loved that film though. Loved it when it was on the Epica shortlist. Loved it when it toured the world on those "worlds X commercials" shows. It's ace. It's memorable. The team who produced it seven years ago should be a little insulted at the veggie-soceity trying to pretend it's all new. Wonder if they stil work at Ogilvyone? This ad might have lasted longer than their career. ;)

We weren't sure how serious Mad Injection CD Mikal Reich was when he emailed us early this week, announcing that the agency within an agency was on sale on eBay. Call it eBay stunt fatigue. But since Mad Dogs & Englishmen (the agency in which Reich's agency resides) is, after much speculation, officially calling it quits, we guess the bidding is really on.
How confusing the messages would be.... ;9
However, it's not at all uncommon for print ads in Scandinavia tyo carry the ad agencies name on them. Set in 6 point running on vertically the side of the ad closest to the gutter (if a magazine) or on ethe right of it's a bus-poster. Oddly, one never seems to find the agency name when the ad is utter crap. ;)

Don't worry about Bill he just has a cranky way of saying things... He means simple that you should link to the article you are refering to. Also, we don't know that you have been reading forever since you don't have one single comment to your name ( I think that was his point anyway.. I'm kinda guessing).
As for the article, I thougt it was interesting (after all, I approved it) but one thing bugs me about this. Now that they are finally catching on and understanding you can't speak to a rainbow of people if the only voice you have is the white-male, they are still boxing people in. "Multicultural" means "ethnic" in some way, perhaps "Hispanic" in the United states. Right there lies the problem - there are so many billions of variations of people what needs to be looked at is individuals not ethnicity. All in my humble opinion of course. You can't fit me in a box, I lived on three different continents when I was growing up and have moved around the world since. But I do have the usual "diplomat kid" advantage of seeing what others miss in a new culture, because I've always had to understand and fit in - fast. You'd miss that if you interviewed me based on ethnicity alone.
