I'll believe it when I see it. How can they get a Wired writeup for a napkin idea? I'm not saying it's a bad idea, it does sound like it has legs and will work nicely the way they describe it, but couldn't Wired just wait until they launch before they write anything? This was more like a giant press release than anything else, where were the hard hitting questions like: "so, why haven't you launched your great idea yet, and did you know that other sites doing the exact same thing already exist?"
Yep, that's an identical idea.
What the hell kind of spam is that? I think you should delete this Dabitch, it looks wrong and is the users first and only comment.
I agree with you. Also, the magic pancake is a cute way of telling the old "all you can eat" story, it neatly avoids the "this is why you're fat" angle.
I think the music was the right choice.
Daito Manabe's work was the first thing I thought of as well, even though I couldn't remember his name. The link to his films went around the agency like clap a while back.
aaaah, but will it sell chocolate?
That BMW ad is the perfect example of how sexist ads are offensive to men as well. It practically screams "HELLO CAVEMAN WE OWN YOU WITH HORMONES". I've got news for BMW, my reptilian brain does not make expensive car purchasing decisions and I'm truly insulted you thought that it did.
It's a SCARF people.
Has to be done:
