I think the theatre-look and title-card is a good way to solve it, I mean the ad gets funnier whe you know that it's called "Dirty Fruiting", so it was either this (which makes sense when the whole ad is a bad play) or a Super (which would make less sense). Good Art Direction, I say. :)
Don't tell me Paul Newman is such a nice guy - now I'll have to have a crush on him all over again. Dammit.
The Andy Warhol spot had me in tears. Oh I so wish I had seen this back in 1984 - kudos for trying to pronounce things in Japanese Andy. Alas, I think that american accent came through loud and clear. ;)
The Suntory - Diorama spot in the natural history museum was everything I love about Japanese ads. Irreverent, surreal and strange. Good stuff! Flying a Suzuki around the statue of liberty without permission aye? Those were the days, you'd get shot on sight if you tried that today. ;)
