People have been eagerly awaiting the Alexander Wang x H&M collection, and the video launching it shows clothes cut for moving through rough weather and rough cities but in style. As it starts in a gym, you might be forgiven for thinking it's workout-wear, until you see that it's flexible fashion ready for anything. The execution feels a bit like a video game, and the models ball-braids remind me of Lara Croft as they traverse snowy landscapes on motorcycles and do impressive backflips after snowboarding on makeshift found items. First person shooter camera aesthetics and game physics have clearly inspired this. Redroom, you've done it again, you're so visually well timed I'm starting to suspect that you have a time-machine in your office.
