Can Shane Gillis save Bud Light? This ad is a parody of perfume ads generally and Johnny Depp "Savage" ads specifically show Shane being utterly confused by everything around him, including the sudden snake that suddenly appears as a necklace on the woman next to him.
"Hey, I think I'm in the wrong commercial" Shane notes, speaking to some sort of commercial god/director above. "Wait, you're not Andre?" the director voice shoots back. Turns out that Andre is at a bar eating buffalo wings and loving life in the actual Bud Light ad Shane was supposed to be in.
Very funny, Bud Light. Even though parodying perfume ads has been done before.
But it wasn't artsy perfume ads that made people stop drinking Bud Light, it was specifically a man pretending to be a woman in a bubble bath that offended everyone so. But I'm glad Bud Light is back on track and engaging Shane Gillis, who is a quite funny comedian, just as he heads out on tour around America. He can be seen in a comedy club that sells Bud Light near you soon.
