Colorado Lottery - As Good As Gold / Sitcom - Is lottery creative, the last bastion of truly weird ideas?

Is lottery creative, the last bastion of truly weird ideas? It seems that you can get as silly as you want for lotteries.

Remember that classic 80s sitcom, As Good As Gold? The one about the kooky hijinks of two Wild West gold prospectors, Elijah and Jeremiah, and their mule, Eugene, who are living in the suburbs and mining for millions via Colorado Lottery’s Gold Rush scratch-off game. Ok, fair enough, so it’s not a real sitcom, but rather a clever new ad campaign from Cactus, and it even has a classic sitcom theme song. Give it a listen:

This new work for the Colorado Lottery comes on the heels of a new spot for Cactus’ other lottery client, North Carolina Education Lottery called “Happy Crier,” which furthers the “Winners Club” campaign universe that Cactus created.
Cactus also created this spot "the Greatful outdoors" for Colorado Lottery honoring their 40th Anniversary a few months ago.
In Episode 1 "Striking Gold" they ... uh, strike gold. After a silly joke about "Eureka!"
