Allan... "Remember, no matter where you go... There you are." (Buckaroo Banzai).
P.S. I have a distant relative who was/is a big time Hollywood producer (also TV producer) for the past 30 years. (I haven't seen him since his mother's funeral in Phila. PA, 20+ years ago). [I mention this since you are apparently also a producer/editor/actor/etc.].
I am apparently. :-)I meant the chocolate, and I used to produce Marabou when I was producing commercials in Stockholm, when I was married to Ost, before I returned to America and found Hollywood.
When I actually met him, I had known his mom, Dorothy (she was my mother's great aunt - or something like that), for around 5 years, although I'd known of her for 20+. He had just flown in from LA for the funeral, and I think both his kids were there (it was, after all, there grandmother). I think they were just finishing school (going to go Med or Law - I forget, and the other in high school??) here on the East Coast. [I could be very wrong here, but IMDB confirms that they have 2 kids].
He regaled the relatives with stories about Hollywood (Neil Diamond, Sir Larry, and Henry Fonda stories, etc.), and after the services back at the apartment after the funeral, he was going to fly to England to help defend his company - someone claimed that they wrote "On Golden Pond", not the credited writer (Ernest Thompson). If I knew when that lawsuit took place, I could better date the funeral.

PermalinkI took a look at his imdb page. That's a good career he's had. I'm sure he's proud of it. :-)
