KYLE edit hires editor Brian Sanford & moves to the Flatiron District

KYLE edit welcomes Brian Sanford to its new digs in the heart of the Flatiron District. Sanford joins Owner and editor Tina Mintus and Executive Producer Eytan Gutman, along with editor Nate Taylor and Creative Director/visual effects artist Mike McKenna, rounding out their roster with his strong comedic timing and nouveau style.

With award-winning work in his pocket, Sanford adds to the already intimate and collaborative environment at KYLE, which has been built upon the creation of amazing stories through a culture of cooperation. He has worked with agencies such as BBDO, DDB, Grey, Digitas, RGA, Saatchi, McCann and Taxi to create work for brands like Lowe's, Time Warner, Etrade, Mucinex, Guinness and Miller Light, to name a few. Most recently, Sanford’s work can be seen in Jeep’s Super Bowl 50 spot, "Portraits".

KYLE was founded by Mintus following her successful stretch at Version2 where she worked extensively on campaigns for Garnier, L'Oreal, Revlon, Target, Subaru, American Express, JCPenney and Olay, among others. Under Mintus’ leadership, KYLE continues its work with the Garnier brand, along with Hershey’s, Head & Shoulders, Walmart, Pampers and Cheerios, furthering strong relationships with Publicis, Arnold and Saatchi.

“KYLE was born out of my desire to create a boutique editorial house that produces the very best work. We pride ourselves on the familial-like relationships we have with each other that enhance our professional accomplishments,” says Mintus.

“I have always wanted KYLE to grow, but just enough so that we can maintain our unique and specialized personality,” she continues. “Our move into a larger space in a prime location marks the perfect time to welcome Brian onboard, but walking through our doors still feels like walking into someone’s home.”
With the move, KYLE also expands its visual effects department to include color correction under the creative direction of McKenna. His notable career began in 1996 at Manhattan Transfer, which later became RIOT Manhattan. Since joining KYLE, McKenna’s refined eye for design has touched spots for such brands as Gillette, Bulgari, L’Oreal, Progresso, Cheerios, Target and Walmart.
Furthering the forward-thinking team at KYLE is Executive Producer Eytan Gutman, whose years of production experience and creative problem-solving skills elevate KYLE as an editorial company to keep an eye on. Gutman joined KYLE following a nine-year span as a post production producer, prior to which he worked as an agency producer at Ogilvy and DDB until landing at BBDO where he led national spots and Super Bowl ads for Pizza Hut as broadcast producer.

“KYLE is like no other place at which I’ve worked – it embodies great energy creatively and socially,” says Gutman. “Our clients are drawn to us for our personal approach to both relationships and storytelling. We have been able to establish ourselves heavily in the beauty and lifestyle industries, and now we are extremely excited to welcome Brian to the family. His knack for comedy really completes our talent offering.”

KYLE edit and its creative talents can be found at the company’s new location at 15 W 26th Street, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10010.
