TV2 Denmark offers real news in exchange for fake news.

Here's a refreshingly simple "small" idea, that will have a big effect.

You know all of that fake news you see in your social media feeds? Screenshot it, head over to fakenewsforrealnews.dk to upload it and presto you get free access to TV2 Denmark. Simple, right? This small idea will also teach people to both look for and spot fake news, as well as alert TV2 of what fake stories are currently circulating online, where journalists can then actively seek out the truth of the story. Bonus benefits!

Social media is not news media. They make themselves available to anyone. You. And me. And those who invent their own news. Therefore, it can be difficult to discern what is true and what is false on social media.

Fortunately, there are media that have a duty to bring true news. We are one of them ourselves, and you can now access our news. Send us some fake content from your feed and we'll give you access to real news.
