I built this website. From scratch. Including the servers.
Hehe, yeah going throuugh random ones is fun! Someone sent me (the hostmaster email) a George Bush version. Here's one that Claymore did starring The Tick and Bat Manuel.
Wonder if it was the spanking that made the mud-wrestling too raunchy for telly? ;)
Related, I was about to post this but two Lynx/Axe posts in one day might as well get mashed together like so: The http://www.axemansion.com/ is a website for lynx/axe where you can win crap and stuff. When you walk in, you choose a country that you're in so the prizes are relevant to you. Anyway, then you can "spray" around the site with your deoderant-cursor and attract as many females as possible scoring points for each one. Or something like that. I dunno, my browser kinda crashed on me while I was trying it out.
Dr.Uneasy - right on.
Congrats to Pitchfork Media who made it into the New York Times with this story. ;)
Alec Bourgeois, a Dischord employee, said Minor Threat and Dischord were still considering their legal options."We got inundated with e-mails saying 'Sue Nike,' " he said. "We're flattered by the outrage. I don't think Nike understood that people care so much about this ethos."
That was published July 4, that is after the Nike apology.
Lets not forget my fave, the 7up parody version (2002) either. ;)
Well, yeah, it would be devilishly clever.. ;)
Though Coco Rocks aren't the only ones to have chosen unfortunate names, if it's any conciliation.
Some examples of names that makes anglo-speakers giggle, the Poo Tofu-stick, the Cok hotels Amsterdam (now wisely using their owners name, Ramada), Pocari Sweat, and of course my all time favorite winegums as depicted on my desk right now: Spunk! (also available as a sweet scnapps!)
Hmmmm... Perhaps this is all planned - the "crack made with chocolate pudding" does sound a bit odd doesn't it? ;)
This post has attracted the attention of Tequila, the TBWA toy that boasts they invented "DISRUPTON" a methodology whereby they provide their clients with ideas and actions that break the mould.
Anyway, people from the super secret Tequila Hacienda are hitting the front page right now so they are talking about something around here, and since Coco Rocks is their client, it might just be this post. ;)
