Mr Fredrik Olsson quoted in the article goes by the name "Lord Frederuk" in another ad forum, a Swedish one called Bold.
As for the French, I slept through class. It's some kind of pun on sleeping on hay/penniless. 'lying on straw/hay' is an expression that means 'to be penniless', but the headline is saying "You have a right to a decent matress without lying on straw"... That is, without spending a lot of money (and ending up penniless). It works in French anyway.
Something is fishy then. You've asked for a clarification in order to write a proper article based on their press release, but must have pressed the wrong button when pointing out the strangeness of an ad camopaign that premieres now having won a bronze lion last year. Either they've blatantly cheated or they simply talking about a new set of ads that are premiering now? Either way they should reply as they sent out the pressrelease - and it quite suspect that they don't.
Right, knowing that Hardy's and Carls JR are the same same but different - I was kindof expecting the PR person to be clever and say things like: "This mechanical Bull ad never ran for Hardy's until 2003", yah? But for all I know they did say that, the quote at adrants was more in the way Steve saying what they told him, rather than a direct Quote.
