While the Super Bowl's TV ads are rightly in the spotlight this weekend, I've assembled a less spectacular (but still interesting) collection of their online counterparts:

(My archive is focused on Super Bowl and Super Bowl-related online ads that are intended to complement, promote, or extend the messages being delivered on television. In rare cases, I'll stretch that definition to include event hijackers -- rogue advertisers using football messaging and images to suggest an official sponsorship role.)
As you'll see, some advertisers and clients are being very strategic about the interplay between their online and offline efforts. Others, disappointingly, seem to have an overly TV-centric mindset and have missed obvious opportunities to capitalize on their investment.
