Adland's Adgrunts of the year, the bestest and mostest list

I know you've all been waiting with baited breath to learn just who is the adgrunt of the year? I'll reveal right now that Canadians are making a big mark on adland. :)

Best new adgrunt of the year (times three!)

Our fave new adgrunts of the year gains three months of super adgruntship juice just for being them.

TDD, was a mean lean posting machine this year both to the front page, in comments and in the forums - and he taught us a magic trick or two while he was at it, though I still haven't mastered turning water into wine.

Philmang for his front page posts and badland posts. Keep 'em coming.

We also feel that Mikemystery deserve a mention as well, even though he has only braved the front page once. Good timing!

A *huge* thank you goes out to zig, BBDO, Euro RSCG, Hype, Raging Artists, Grey, Darnell Works, Miami, Glossy, Publicis, Poke London, SmashLab, Raz PR, Butin Group, Fourty Three PR, T-Viral, Tribal DDB, DDB, Hanrahan, RudderFinn, Torke, Contrapunto, Juice Media, Ignited Minds, Cycho, LaBov & Beyond, Rim Ide & Kommunikasjon, Hot Cherry, Digital Brand Marketing, Duval Guillaume, Saatchi, W+K, Candle, JWT, Tequila, M&C Saatchi, Heliozilla, Alan Taylor, Y&R, Maverick Media, Animal NY, Captains of Industry, Mask, Jun Group Productions, Draft NZ, FCB, Profero, Post Millennium, KsanLab, Deutsch, Lift NY, 72andSunny among many many others and each and every single adgrunt who submitted their work this year.

Best commenting adgrunt of the year

Comments count! Your two cents becomes two months of super adgruntship if you spend them wisely.
hlebarov and Malkie66 for sharing inside info, and being spelling nazis. Someones gotta do it! ;)
Honorable mention (and equal upgrade) goes to Plywood for being most consistent curmudgeon.

Most trackbacked article of the year

Trackbacking is fun!

Amnesty International ads - easily the most trackbacked article on adland ever.
Battle of the ad blogs; winners!
"We want to seed virals on your [insert name here] site!" - ouch.
Coke noise pollutes city centers in the spirit of football

And while The Executive Coloring Book can't be trackbacked it was still linked as much as the Amnesty ads.

Top most read, Most watched, and most commented.

As for posts at Adland, here's the score as it stands right this minute when this article is posted.

This is quite the honour. I had no idea people read what I posted, much less cared.

If I had known I was going to be such an active Adgrunt I would have perhaps come up with a catchy screen name, like 'Chunky Gorilla', or something. TDD are just my initials. And a bank's.

I have learned much from the people of Adland: Dabitch has a wealth of worldly knowledge, and she has always made me feel welcome at Adland. Caffeinegoddess is skilled at writing, and her front page posts should be read by every Adgrunt. Robblink seems to know of every ad in existence. Claymore has this big resource of commercials that he generously shares. I also have a list of those Adgrunts whose posts I make sure I read. They all help make Adland the great place it is.

How do you like that for an acceptance speech? Alright, I'll take my award and I'll get off the stage now.

I vow to continue my anger parade throughout 2007, goddammit.
Cheers
