Anheuser-Busch - "Lets grab a beer" (2021) :60 (USA)

As an umbrella ad for all of their brands, Anheuser-Busch muses on what "Let's grab a beer" really means in this 60-second Super Bowl spot. Junior partners are invited to sith with the seniors at the office. Neighbours invite each other to the pub after battling the snow. When the wedding ceremony is rained in, the bride and groom toast under a canopy. When you and your co-worker are fired the same day, you say: "Let's grab a beer". It's not about the beer, it's about being with each other.

Great ad's picture

I loved this one. It was sincere and took on the past year without pandering. It showed people from all walks of life and all reas in America, in all kinds of situations. Felt good to feel united in a simple thing. Which beer, or if it's not even an alcoholic drink, is irrelevant.

Yaknow, “let’s grab a beer” is really being a way of saying “we need each other” and that really got me. Like, yeah, man. Such a nice way of connecting with another human being. We need more of that now.

How many of us really wish we could just grab a beer with our friends right now? So many times the phrase “let’s grab a beer” has been code for something else, yes.

I miss saying let’s grab a beer *pandemic sigh*

This was actually heartwarming while also relating to the product so I thought this was the best one. And I felt that rained in wedding.

I didn't dislike it, but I didn't love it nearly as much as some folks did. Which is fine. But I kept trying to fan away the whiff of codependent alcoholics while watching it. I admit that might just be proof that I've worked too long in advertising.

This commercial made me tear up. I miss everyone.

You don't need to grab a beer to "grab a beer," I think it was nice that they showed how we meet over shared drinks and socialize. How important this is in all areas. The scene where the woman was asked to sit with the senior partners at the office got me.
