Campari and FamousGrey launch short film: "Bitter Talks"

FamousGrey and Campari have launched "Bitter Talks," a short film featuring cocktail glasses as the main characters. The film aims to establish Campari as a partner and sponsor of major film festivals. It was released during the Cannes Film Festival and will be shown in Belgian cinemas in June.

In 'Bitter Talks,' FamousGrey creatively explores the idea that many famous movie dialogues occur in a bar while the characters are having a drink. The main characters in this short film are the cocktail glasses themselves, specifically a Campari Negroni and a Campari Spritz. The dialogue takes place offscreen while the glasses are shown in close-up, adding mystery and depth to the conversations, aligning with Campari's message that "Every cocktail tells a story." The four-minute short film combines dialogue and music in an intriguing way.

English screenwriter Kate McMullen and Italian director Lisa Carletta, both recognized at short film festivals, worked closely to create tension and intrigue in the film. The music for the film was composed by Peter Baert of Raygun.

Campari, a long-time sponsor of various film festivals worldwide, is looking to expand its presence in Belgium by supporting events such as the Ostend Film Festival and the Ghent Film Fest.

"Bitter Talks" will be shown in all UGC cinemas across Belgium in June. Additionally, the film will be available on YouTube, and teasers will be shared on Instagram. In September, the campaign will include an activation with students from film schools in Belgium.
