It's rather unfortunate for Audi that David Bowie passed so recently, as when the song "Star Man" starts up, the only thing any David Bowie fan can think of is David Bowie. And if you watched twitter the day David Bowie died, everyone is a David Bowie fan.
This ad will ar first quarter in Sundays game, and shows a son visiting his ageing "commander" father. A former astronaut who has lost his appetite and lust for life. But the son has the remedy, a key for the 205-mph Audi R8 V10 plus, and when the father gets to drive this sleek machine he shoots for the moon. Choosing the moon, brings out the best in us, says the line at the end, and now I know that Audi makes a rocket car.

What did NARAL think? .@Audi - you couldn't find a single female astronaut to feature in your ad? #NotBuyingIt #SB50

PermalinkBob sez: YOU don't think the Audi ad was about dementia? So what? Many did. And were upset. Advertisers may not upset the many to impress the few.
