Well, whether or not we could collectively enter the competition now as the "Adland collective", what has become apparent is that this ad is a MASSIVE SUCCESS for Virgin Music.
Look how many of us have spent real time engaging with it - this is a damn good example of the power of engagement (and entertainment) - and it's not even an uber-trendy Flash animation!

I don't know what the three posters just below them are, anyone? Also, the three people on the rooftop with a gate (or is that one of those things that horses jump over) confuse me. The building in the back - Deep Purple? Rolling Stones, OK...Drat, someone saw Postal Service :-). Is the woman on the fire escape Blondie? Of course, we can see Pavement.
Things that look too deliberate I haven't decoded: The lamp or sconce over the Dead Kennedys. The three protrusions over the Pet Shop. The bubblegum Blondie's blowing. The birdcage and animal (dog?) in the Pet shop window. The pin-up girl in the Cornershop. The yellow poster(s) near the Talking Heads. The four crates of...something next to Jewel and Korn. The leafy plant in the foreground right. The strange plant or creature just abaft the Queen's butt. The second window into the Crowded House. The four colored panels just next to the Cult/folks dressed in white.
