Condomunity show us an odd little campaign from Elasun Condoms which injects condoms into all major olympic sports.
Swimming is done across a ribbed condom, basketball is played into a condom-hoop, and archery is one pile of condoms rolled into a target.
While some of these images are a bit of a stretch (ahem), Elasun still get two thumbs down for the horrible cliché of hijacking other brand names to make their point - and i still don't know what their point is - see that bit inside.
"By the way “avoiding pregnancy” in Chinese (”Bi-yun”) has become a way to say “to avoid the Olympics” (”Ao-yun” meaning the Olympic Games in mandarin Chinese)"
Basketball - condom hoop.
Olympc (condom) rings.
Yes, condom tires!
Condom-target.
Another part of the campaign at Condomunity, is a terrible attempt at riding on other brands. Try "I'm loving it" with two worse for wear wonky condom silouettes - nobody loves when that happens. Trust me.
Then there's the tiny cap on this large bottle of booze. They better not be going for that "little head" joke here. Keep moving? What?
Just Nike it? Oh please make this stop!
Nothing tops the terrible "Fruit taste - Good taste ad" from Elasun currently seen on youtube. Not safe for work if you're a nun.
Visually the first ones are good but the line "sports make you heath" annoys me.
Brand-stealing one is meh.

PermalinkI think I might have a social disease. I looked at the rings ad and thought, "Since when did they make breasts an Olympic sport?"

PermalinkHonestly, I thought the same exact thing. Or well, I thought "HA! Nipples!"

PermalinkThis is cool how they are promoting safe sex in a revolutionary way.
Something else that's cool is how OneCondoms has started the Presidential Condom Challenge Campaign in order to help our next president address the overwhelming trend in the increase of HIV infections.
In 2008, the number of HIV infections has reached 56,300 per year! In response, One® Condoms has delivered 56,300 condoms (one for every person who will be infected with HIV this year) to the campaign headquarters of Senators Barack Obama and John McCain. The message is simple - demonstrate your support for comprehensive health education for all Americans, including the use of condoms.
To check this out further or to join the team to help our future president promote safer sex education, visit http://onecondoms.com/challenge/index.htm
