The Foundation to Combat Antisemitism is planning to air its first-ever Super Bowl commercial this year. The primary objective of the advertisement is to create awareness regarding the alarming rise in antisemitic incidents. The 30-second spot will feature the #StandUpToJewishHate campaign, which was initiated last March. The FCAS was established in 2019 by Robert K. Kraft, the CEO of the Kraft Group and the owner of the New England Patriots football team.
The #StandUpToJewishHate campaign is a part of a $25 million marketing initiative. It introduced a blue square symbol, which represents the difference between the small size of the Jewish population in the United States and the large number of religious-based hate crimes against them. The campaign also urged people to take action against antisemitism and recognized bystanders who speak up against it.
