It has always been hard to create great work. Only the people who push the envelope and explore new concepts created work that resonated - and they had to fight hard for it. The idiotically simple "Tate by tube" poster was actually initially thrown in the bin, but David Booth dug it back out because he kept thinking about it. So he had to fight to get it produced, and now it is the best-selling Tate poster of all time.
Reading what everyone else thinks about this ad, it appears that I'm the only human on the planet who doesn't associate this Yello song with Ferris Bueller's day off.
Have to share these twitter comments as it's funny.

And "You can dance."— Scott Hamula (@shamula) January 9, 2023
Bwahahaha, wait, how as the gay level turned up - aside from "handsome man dancing and lots of sexy shots"? I thought that eye candy of serious guns was delivered for us ladies...
We had similar comments (on Twitter) with the Hugh Jackman ad, but I don't think that the original Fat Boy Slim video had the same vibe to viewers.
Maybe it's simply due to the actors good looks? I love Christopher Walken, and he's a surprisingly good dancer, but he was "older" and therefore past the sell-by "sexy leading man" date when he did his video. Which, in my humble opinion, made it so much better. Hugh and Daniel are in their prime "sexy leading man" era still.
Oh, just had a thought. Can someone please make a Mr Bean version? Mr Bean dancing for a pint of John Smith’s Bitter or something would be such a good parody. "No Nonsense" you know. Or heck, have him dancing for PG Tips.
Hahaha! True. And it's the Docmorris kettlebell routine as well.
