Burberry brings us a love story with a dash of celebrity. Romeo Beckham dances through the ad as if he's cupid, matching up a couple among all of the dancers. The ad clearly is inspired by musical theatre and old Hollywood romantic dance scenes, to convey glamour and London's west end. It loses a lot of the magic in editing. The constant quick edits are usually used to hide unsynchronized dancers and less than stellar performances. With so many here, one begins to wonder if they're trying to tell us the products are flawed. In the end the ad reads like the brand - expensive and boring.

PermalinkI'll have you know my Burberry coat is amazing. But I paid £20 for it in a charity shop; retail, it would have been £800. No thank you!
