Google has beenvery busy during the last two to three weeks. First with the proposed $90 million settlement over click fraud. Then the deal with XM Satellite Radio enabling Google's AdWords' customers to place terrestrial and satellite radio spots.
This was followed by Google and MTV forming an alliance to distrubute ad-supported TV clips to bloggers and website publishers. And yesterday Google signed with Fox Interactive Media (FIM) to be the exclusive provider of search results and associated paid listings on a majority of the group's Internet properties, including MySpace. As part of the deal Google has agreed to pay FIM at least $900 million between January 2007 and mid-year 2010, providing its properties meet certain traffic and related commitments.
