I'm still waiting to hear from Techcrunch if they wish to elaborate on their reasoning for this. While some may see Anne Franks diary as a treasure of pure 'data', the real heart of a young woman's thoughts, there are many people out there who would just as soon find the use of the name of a holocaust victim in a "fun" smart phone app quite offensive.

Also, yes we remember the Belieber Incident.

No mention of Hervé Villechaize's (Tattoo) little cameo, after death? Reanimating dead celebrities in ads is getting far too common.

It's a fun twist on "whining", but they could have gone a little more unexpected on her eclectic items. Though I do appreciate that she sold her kidney for that pop art.

Ha ha ha, well the press release did lean heavily on the fact that it was called the "Tequila Sunrise tour", they just omitted it was actually called "the cocaine and tequila sunrise tour".

It just hit to me that using Kim Davis' name in the ad might not have been all that wise. Some legal brain around here able refresh my memory on US laws regarding names & likenesses in ads?

I hate bad advertising. The product pushed or propaganda spewed is secondary. If the ad is crap, built on a poor strategic foundation or skirting to truth so hard it skids into lies, I will tear it apart regardless of which side of the political spectrum it may fall. It is a shame you missed it, the wooden acting was kind of amazing.
