I built this website. From scratch. Including the servers.
"very different for the genre" - yes! This! It blows the usual wavy hair shiny happy people shit away. I find that really refreshing. I am the target, since I have long hair, and they got me with that great hair envy insight. Good job. Might get something in Cannes if they had time to submit it.
*sobs* But I love the astronaut!! It's so irreverent! Dangit!
I hear you on the possibilities of dropping lines at the end. It works perfectly with "I want to be... her" and then we see our gorgeous hair lady.
At the same time, I enjoy longer ads so I would want a 60 still. I don't think this would work as a 45.
Good insight, I have stared at the perfect hair girl during my morning commute (and Friday I was the perfect hair girl people stared at. Internet High five!)
The commute shots were rather amusing, the sudden astronaut was a nice touch, but as you say it could have been a little shorter.
Regarding that Audi ad, I'ma just gonna drop a quote in here from this post about Danske Bank's campaign in 2012
Here's the problem that some clients forget . We can't put lipstick on a pig , the consumer will still know it's a pig. If your company wants to run around saying that it is green, first act green. Make sure you don't buy 450 single-use only non biodegradable plastic bags for giveaways filled with trinkets branding how green you are, for example. (and that's a real world example). You have no women in your board of directors? Fix that before you use the image of a woman in a mans world as your branding image.
It must well and truly suck to be running the Sweden twitter account this week. I feel bad for the guy. All he wants to talk about is bandy. And his glorious cat that pinned him to his chair so now all he can do is tweet for help because we mustn't wake master.
Also, Wikileaks/Julian Assange is showing up on this topic as it's been announced that Sweden will hold yet another press conference about the case Sweden is still attempting to bring to fruition against him, this coming Friday. (May 19)
To be clear, this blocklist has nothing to do with Twitter as a company. This blocklist was implemented by "Net security expert" Vian Tahir when she was the curator of the Sweden account. The technical aspects of the blocklist in question is kept purposely vague, in the statements made by SI, and it's very likely that Vian Tahir simply used a tool like Block together to create an exportable list to apply to the Sweden account since it matches her private blocklist to 97.7%. You hardly need to be a "net security expert" to click radio buttons.
Twitter has in the past banned users like Milo, after many temporary shutdown attempts. That's a different story since Twitter itself is just a privately owned platform and not a government voice. Twitter is also founded and hosted in the US where laws are vastly different which makes that a whole different can of worms.
