CMS Group, the authorized Volvo shop to take your car or truck in for care at has launched a campaign to remind customers and would-be ones that they have the personal touch and plenty of mechanics that help set things right. Tagged "service you remember" CMS sent out an old fashioned game of 'memory' with a twist, on the cards there's mainly images of their mechanics.
"Our competition have used their CEO or some other higher-up to be the public face of the company. We think this is wrong, at our company it's our technicians that the customer actually meets, so they should be the public face of the company." said Toni Larsson - humble Vice President of the CMS group.
The concept , case and game was created by Miami advertising in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Nice touch. I assume they actually deliver good service, too. I don't think any Volvo shops in Boston would want to launch a campaign like this, given that what I remember every time I pick up my car are the high labor prices, they don't wash cars in the winter, I seem to be in there every month, etc...

PermalinkSorry to hear about the Boston situation. In Sweden CMS Group has won the competition for best Volvo Service Center 2005 and 2006. So I trust these guys ( but I would´nt call myself objective :-)
