Google's bluetooth enabled shoe can trash talk your lazy ass

At SXSW Google unveiled a talking shoe. Their ad innovation program “Art, Copy and Code” just birthed sneakers that can talk your ass into getting off that dang couch. ABC news spoke to Aman Govil, the lead of the advertising arts team;

"If you put what the shoe knows through an algorithmic logic engine, it can translate it into copy," Govil explained. "Now if you give that copy to an interesting copywriter, you could give the shoe personality. One shoe could be the trash-talking shoe."

Of course there's all the social media ideas, now that Nike has announced how much we run, the Google/Adidas shoe could announce how high we jump because twitter and other SM places aren't flooded with inane updates nobody cares about already. In the future, there'll be blogs for the lazy - just connect all your SM widgetry to a web page and the world can see how active, hip and cool you are via all your widgets speaking for you. You'll never have to type again! Add your self-driving hybrid car so we can see how much gas you're saving, add your GPS so we know every time you make a chocolate mochaccino run at Starbucks, add your last calls records so we know that last chocolate one was because your boyfriend dumped you, you weirdo.

Sorry, where was I? Oh, right, trash talking shoe. The shoe can tell what you are or aren't doing and can then relay that information to your phone via Bluetooth or to you via the speaker in the top tongue of the shoe. If we could hack these we could have some fun making the shoes trash talk people around you or the people you are with: "Hey sweetcheeks, why you hanging around with this loser? He don't even lift, man. I know, man, I know, he be on the couch all day. With your sister."
