That cow there looks like a bit of Cow parade Cow, I mean, a painted cow statue. The Norweigans (and Banksy) actually painted real cows. Milka the purple chocolate guys did not paint real cows [afaik] but have purple (post production trick) cows walking around in their adverts.

I never did like ads that 'copy' other ads on purpose though, though what you said makes a lot of sense (even the copy-nod-homage part of it all).
