For such a heavy issue (abandoned kids in worn torn countries) this spot comes across as being a too tongue and cheek for its own good. I'm sure it wasn't the intention at all but this comedic approach (while admirable) ends up managing to undermine children in need, because it spends too much time on the joke. Going to a Surrogaid.org suffers from the same problem. You have to sit through the jokey robot stuff first before you get to the actual donate button.
