That Logo Orange which caffeinegoddess posted last week has been picked apart by the hive detective minds at metafilter. It seems nothing on that site isn't ripped from another site, or book. The paper color printing article comes from Elements of Typographic Style book by Robert Bringhurst. The legible article comes from Emigre back in 92 and can be found reprinted in the Emigre 65 book. Loads of pages seem to have simple been fed through babelfish for translation and then re-posted. Compare Logo Orange's page on "M" with Markenlogo's German Language page on "M". I'm sure one could find more, if one can be bothered - dunno if the translation and collecting of all this stuff was done on behalf of Emigre and others to build an English source, or if it was simply an easy way to get a lot of content fast.
Yeah... I know it pisses "One" off when someone else rips "One" off. But when "One" rips another "One" off, it isn't plagerism... It's an "Homage." So much classier in French.

PermalinkThis regurgitated/babelfished site is getting all the link attention and credit for other peoples work, what's wrong with visiting Emigre or Markenlexicon from the start?

PermalinkWell that was a creative idea to make a logo. Can you please show me the picture of this logo so that all of my concept should completely cleared.
